Key Discipline Discipline Policy Research Service Of The Library Of Tianjin Normal University

Along with information society’s development, the university library information service starts to be specialized. Subject services is the service that understanding what’s disciplined users want and how to work for a state-of-art higher crowd. In China, Our country starts about1980s to come into contact with subject service, and now we already had a great development. in theory, our disciplinary services are going to mature, but in practice, it needs further development. No matter is domestic or overseas, the systematic establishment of subject service is a topic worth discussing.This article starting from discipline service theory was divided three levels to elaborate the discipline service basic concept:Namely the discipline service main body, the object and the discipline service platform. These three aspects constituted the integrity discipline service system provided the solid rationale for subject services’ establishing in the reality. Tianjin Normal University took as a Tianjin Key University, does have a part of state-level and the city level key discipline. How to provide professional service is the focal point to future development of this university’s library. This article researches Tianjin Normal university Library’s existing information service, analyzes this service how to support the discipline service and which problem is urgently awaits to be solved. At the same time, this article unifies Tsinghua University library’s experience of constructing an excellent subject service as well as Information librarian and user requirements for future construction disciplines service, providing systematic and specific measures for the establishment of Tianjin Normal University Library Subject Service. I also hoped these measures these measures can provide a reference for similar universitiesThis article draws such conclusions through the case analysis and the real diagnosis research:we need constructs the Tianjin Normal university Library discipline service from three levels:discipline service provision, including discipline librarian’s construction and service content development; discipline users’demand and feedback; the construction of discipline service platform. These three levels involve the main body, the object and the tie which contact main body and the object. This is also the essential factors for constructing discipline serves. Tianjin Normal University’s subject services construction can be started from these three aspects, and combine its own actual development situation, develops gradually, attempts it slowly.
