Investigation And Research On The Current Status Of The Subject Service Of University Library In Laoning Province

"Subject service" is a deeper mode of service developed in China's University Library in the past twenty years.With the form of information transmission and the wave of the information age,the university library is changing from the traditional mode of taking the resources as the leading service mode to the user centered discipline service mode.The university library subject service is: the electronic resources of library literature resources,Internet library for the database,with the information needs of the user as the center,set up a team of subject librarians,build discipline service platform for teaching and research field to provide users with comprehensive,professional and practical subject service.The construction and development of university libraries has become an important symbol to measure the overall level of universities.The development of discipline services is a key factor to measure the service level of libraries.The service of University Library for self and service users have milepost significance,it can not only improve the level of library services,but also conducive to organic library into the university teaching and scientific research,for the development of library faster and better,worthy of promotion actively and properly.This paper selects 75 colleges and universities in Liaoning Province: 65 Colleges(including 24 private colleges),10 colleges as the research object,with the method of investigation,expert consultation,case analysis,econometric analysis method research on the current Liaoning province university library subject service development,and select the library of Shenyang Normal University and Dalian National University Library as a typical case analysis,mining of University Libraries in Liaoning Province in the discipline service work carried out on the road of achievements and problems.Through careful study of these problems and giving some reference opinions,the development of the academic services of University Libraries in Liaoning province has been developed.This article is divided into the following six parts:The first part: introduction.This paper expounds the background and significance of the research on subject service,literature review at home and abroad,research methods and so on.The second part: the investigation and study of the present situation.Based on the actual situation of subject librarian,subject service content,discipline service platform construction and discipline service system,the results of the survey are analyzed in detail.The third part: typical case analysis.This paper not only selects the successful academic libraries in Liaoning,but also analyzes the library of Shenyang Normal University as a typical case,and selects the library of Dalian Nationalities University at the initial stage of discipline service.This paper summarizes the experience and practice of the development of the subject service,and provides a reference for the scientific service of the University Libraries in Liaoning.The fourth part: the existing problems.After second parts of the investigation and study of the academic services of University Libraries in Liaoning province and the analysis of the third successful cases,the problems in the development of the subject service of University Libraries in Liaoning province are explored.The fifth part: the strategy of sustainable development.According to the actual situation and learn from domestic and foreign university library subject service experience,explore for Liaoning Province University Library Subject Service Countermeasures and advice.The sixth part: summary and prospect.Based on the theoretical research and practical investigation in the first few parts,we summarize the work of discipline service in Liaoning's academic libraries,and hope that the development of discipline services in Liaoning's academic libraries is developing steadily.
