Subject service is an active and participatory service constructed by university library, which is regarded as the "breakthrough" for university library to get rid of the solidified crisis and rebuild the service image based on information knowledge.Subject librarians are the core of the subject service team, and the cultivation of the quality of the members directly affects the ability to create the value of the subject service, and even determines the development direction of the subject service. How to ensure the quality of subject librarians to meet the needs of subject service has become an important problem faced by the development of modern university libraries.Based on this,in order to find an efficient and operable quality training mechanism for subject librarians and strengthen the "kinetic energy" of subject service in university libraries, the multi-quality training mechanism for subject librarians in university libraries is studied by means of investigation and case analysis. It is found that the multi-quality training of subject librarians in university libraries is still in the preliminary exploration stage, and the training model, content and assessment mechanism are deficient to varying degrees, which makes the multi-quality training difficult to "land" and is not conducive to the improvement of subject service quality. In order to reverse the present situation,we must actively learn from the excellent experience of some universities and libraries at home and abroad, and make a comprehensive reform in the aspects of training objectives, modes and guarantee mechanisms, which conform to the construction level of university libraries in China.
