| The change of archival ideology and the strengthening of archives consciousness during the Republic of China were the internal driving force for the emergence and development of archival science in China.Since then,domestic scholars have gradually begun to conduct in-depth research on archival science as an independent discipline,and have produced fruitful research results.These research results are mainly presented in the form of monographs and papers.Compared with monographs,these archival papers published in journals are scattered,fragmented,and difficult to retrieve.Therefore,at present,domestic scholars mainly conduct research on the first-hand materials of the archives monographs of the Republic of China.However,the journal's “short,flat,fast” information storage and dissemination function has made a large part of the research results of archival science in the Republic of China survived through archival journals.Therefore,an in-depth study of archival journals during the Republic of China can enrich the research materials of the archives business history and provide a more comprehensive understanding of the development of archival science during the Republic of China.On the other hand,the archival journals of the Republic of China also summarized the experience of many archives work.Learning,absorbing and innovating these experiences will help improve the efficiency of the work of the archives of our institutions.Therefore,the topic of this thesis has important theoretical and practical significance.This paper focus on the value of archival journals during the Republic of China and the important implications for the development of archives in China.Based on the main purpose of the research,the full text is divided into five parts.The first part of the introduction mainly deals with the significance of the topic,the status of domestic research,the methods and contents of the research,and the innovations of this paper.The second part mainly analyzes the background of the archival journals in the Republic of China from four aspects,namely the spread and development of Western positivism in Chinese academic circles,the awareness of archives protection evoked by “eight thousand sacks”,the rise of archives and modern Chinese The development of the publishing industry.The third part analyzes the research contents of the archival journals of the Republic of China,focusing on the <Chinese Modern Economic History Research Collection>,<the Ming and Qing Dynasties Archives>,<the Special Publications>(renamed as <Documentation>,<Documents>)and <Administrative efficiency file number>”,three basic cases of archival journals during the Republic of China,and summed up the four themes of archival journal research during the Republic of China,namely,the study of archives in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the history of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and the research on historical materials.Introduction to the archives and research of modern institutions and the management of archives in Europe and America.In the fourth part,the author summarizes the characteristics of archival journals during the Republic of China from three aspects: journal name,content and publications.On the basis of the previous research,the fifth part summarizes the value of the archives of the Republic of China and the important enlightenment on the development of Chinese archives.The archival journal of the Republic of China was an important material for studying the history of archives in the Republic of China.It has important values:(1)Disseminating the frontier archives research results;(2)Promoting the establishment of the archival discipline system;(3)Promoting modern Chinese archives;(4)Building an academic exchange platform;(5)Enriching relevant research historical materials;(6)Discovering and cultivating a group of archival talents;(7)Summarizing valuable archive management experience.The archives journals of the Republic of China also have important implications for the development of Chinese archives industry:(1)Increase the consolidation of archival journals during the Republic of China;(2)Dig deep into the value of archival journals during the Republic of China;(3)Give full play to the reading and guiding role of archival journals;(4)To improve the quality of journals in archival journals. |
