A Study On The Influence Between Library Science And Archival Science In Recent China

Using the academic papers which published in library science and archival science core journals, to statistics, analysis and research on the papers and citations, the ultimate aim is to reflect the influence of library science and archival science, and to predict the future development trend of the discipline in a certain extent, increased the understanding of the relationship between library science and archives science.This paper selects the five core journals of library science "Journal of library science in China", " Journal of Academic Libraries", " Library and Information", " Document, Information and Knowledge", " Journal of The National Library of China" and five core journals of archives science " Archives Science Bulletin", " Archives Science Study", " Beijing Archives", " Archives Management", " China Archives" as the research object, carried on the analysis to these ten kinds of core periodicals published in the years 2005-2014 ten years. Data analysis study includes the statistics data in CNKI and VIP. Based on these data, based on the amount of papers published in journals, citation number, the number of cited literature citations, quantity, development source of knowledge diffusion relative index index analysis, comparison between the objective evaluation on library science and archival science relations and mutual influence. And through the analysis of the library science and archival science between the cited literature subject distribution to study the current situation and development trend of the mutual influence of the library to learn and archives.The results indicate that the " Journal of library science in China" and " Archives Science Bulletin" are library science and archival research in the field of the highest indexes journals cited by interaction between the two disciplines compared to the situation, compared to the archives library science studies reveal a clear advantage, obviously studied library science archives learn more, there are 406 documents, accounting for 1.37% of all archives of the selected literature citations, the corresponding reference library science research in archives is 318 cited literature archives, library science accounted for 0.4% of all citations of selected literature, the results of the relative diffusion index is calculated from a source of knowledge, the library science OGRI = 18.61, also much larger than the archives the OGRI = 3.95, conclude, library science can impact on the development of far-reaching archives, archives in terms of both the impact on the development of its own library science development also have to be improved.
