The Evolution Of Library Science In The Republic Of China From The Perspective Of Cultural Cooperation

The basic significance of the study of the history of Library Science has long been recognized by the library academic community.The Republic of China is an extremely fierce and significant period of competition between local culture and foreign culture in Chinese history.It is also the main body and key period for the transition from ancient Chinese Library Science to Modern Library Science.As a result,the status and value of the study of the history of Library Science of the Republic of China are exceptionally outstanding.Its uniqueness and complexity have brought researchers unlimited possibilities.In recent years,the study of the history of library science of the Republic of China has come to a better place,forming a broad and stable research community,and accumulating a large number of research results with good quality.People have an overall grasp of the development and evolution of Library Science in the Republic of China,and the study have entered into a period of in-depth exploration of various parts or fields.Under this circumstance,combing and integrating the existing research results in a timely manner and introducing new theories and methods to expand the research horizon as appropriate,that becomes particularly necessary and important for improving and refining of the study of the history of the Library Science in the Republic of China.This article comprehensively used literature analysis,historical research methods,cross-analysis methods and other methods to examine the evolutionary conditions,trends,and processes of Library Science of the Republic of China from the perspective of cultural co-operation,so as to tried to reveal the diversity and complexity of the formation and evolution of Library Science of the Republic of China--the Modern Transformation of Chinese Library Science.Cultural co-opetition has two layers of meaning in this article:First,as a cultural phenomenon in the Republic of China,it is the macroscopic background of the evolution of Library Science in the Republic of China.Second,it is an extension and application of the co-opetition theory,the evolution itself is the fruit of academic "co-opetition" between ancient Chinese Library Science and Western Library Science.This study first elaborated the origin of the selected topic and research significance,reviewed and commented on the current research status of Library Science of the Republic of China,and briefly explained the research ideas,research methods and possible innovations.Then,by referring and applying to the co-opetition theory in economics,this paper analyzes and summarizes the evolutionary conditions and trends,and then focuses on the course of the evolution under the conditions of cultural co-opetition.The Westernized Trend brought the Western Library Science,while the Reflecting on the Modern Trend activated the ancient Collation Theory.With the calls of Chinese characteristic of the Western Library Science and modernized of ancient Collation Theory,the ancient Collation Theory and the Western Library Science towards co-opetition,and finally gave birth to the "Chinese Library Science".Through systematic review and combing the evolution of the Library Science of the Republic of China under cultural co-opetition,it is found that the formation and evolution of Library Science of the Republic of China is the result of co-operation between western Library Science and ancient Collation Theory.The Library Science of the Republic of China was not only a monument in the history of Chinese Library Science,but also a revelation for the contemporary.In the modern era of the ever expanding and deepening of globalization,cultural co-operation is becoming increasingly common and fierce.The diversified development of Library Science has intensified the co-operation among world Library Sciences.The development of Chinese Library Science should take history as a mirror,pay attention to the world's cultural co-operation closely,fully understand the relationship between localization and internationalization,continue to reasonably learn from and absorb western Library Science theory and technology,and continue to tap and inherit Chinese ancient and modern Library Science,strive to become an important participant and leader in the academic co-operation of the world Library Science.
