News Production Research Based On Blockchain

Since 2008,Satoshi Nakamoto published a groundbreaking paper in the cryptography mailing group,"Bitcoin:A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System," and the blockchain,a distributed accounting technology,was officially named.the distributed ledger technology has been officially named.So far,the blockchain has transferred from the 1.0 era for the purpose of decentralized financial payment to the 2.0 era with smart contracts as the core,and then developing into the 3.0 era taking the decentralized organization as the core,aiming to change social relationships and organizational forms as a whole.With the increasing availability of on-chain assets,the pursuit of blockchain for a true fair and decentralized technical logic coincides with the realistic appeal of news production to real,objective,fair news character.A number of blockchain+journalism venture capital practices have quietly emerged.blockchain+news has become the industry's latest practice and academic frontier topics.This paper will use such as literature research to explore whether journalism industry can be used on a blockchain-technology-based transformation system,such as case analysis to discuss the blockchain-based news production form,taking the blockchain news platform Civil as an example,taking a peek at the blockchain+journalims appliability,characteristics,advantages and problems.This article is divided into five parts.In addition to the introduction,the second chapter introduces the theoretical knowledge of blockchain,with the basic concepts,characteristics,working principles and development process as the main content,focusing on its core framework,consensus and financial mechanism.Based on the technical advantages of hash function,time stamp,P2P networking,asymmetric encryption,script contract,etc.,blockchain forms distributed collaboration and financial incentives to provide a complete set of production,operation,consumption and feedback service programs for journalism.The third chapter introduces the knowledge of news production and discusses the technical characteristics of the blockchain applicable to news production.Through technology empowerment to enhance the equal ability of individuals to participate in news production then communication till storage,to form a public and traceable news sources and non-tamperable content,to organically turn the audiences of common interest into the media market and the public.All the traits above help jorunalims rationalize news production,readjust the benefit distribution mechanism,guarantee the truth of the news and provides solutions for news rights confirmation.On top of this,the anti-authority and decentered consensus setting of the blockchain broadens the public space and participation channels,and provides assistance for the development of a strong public opinion,weakening the influence of political censorship and economic paralysis on the public character of the news.Public news development.The fourth chapter observes the news production process,the participant's identity role and the content of the report with the news practice case of the blockchain news platform Civil.The fifth chapter analyzes and thinks about the potential problems of news practice based on blockchain.As the technology is not mature,the blockchain still has to be discussed in terms of reaching news consensus,financial solutions,source processing,and guaranteeing the truth.
