The Huffington Post is the "first Internet newspaper" worldwide.Since its establishment in May 2005,its influence and attention have soared.Not only has it snatched the hit rate of the old newspapers such as the Washington Post website,the New York Times website,and the Los Angeles Times website,but also won the Pulitzer News Award for its work "Outside the battlefield." In the fate of the newspaper industry transformation,the Huffington Post,which was born,has triggered a revolution in the new media.At one time,we saw hope for the development of the newspaper industry.However,with the changes in the internal organization of the Huffington Post and the squeeze of many factors outside the organization,the Huffington Post also experienced the phenomenon of user churn,unclear positioning,difficult profitability,and shrinking economic growth.Under the circumstance of the collective collapse of native digital media in the United States,how to get rid of a variety of external factors to press the media by breaking through the logic of business logic,and to come up with a bright path is a common problem faced by American native digital media.The Huffington Post is no exception.Faced with the situation that most researchers at home and abroad blindly sing "Huffington Post" for the Huffington Post,this article hopes to adopt a "value-neutral" attitude to more comprehensively and objectively record this "Internet newspaper." The study of the Huffington Post hopes to see the interaction between news production and social control hidden behind it through the description of simple phenomena.Therefore,this article adopts the research orientation of news production sociology as a whole,and conducts in-depth research on the online news community of the Huffington Post through social science research methods,which is more conducive to interpreting the Huffington Post's online news community field.The complex relationship between news production and social control under the domain can better see the changes and impact of the Huffington Post's practices and ideas on the news industry.The research path of news production sociology provides rationality for the online news community constructed by the Huffington Post and its news production mechanism.Whether or not this kind of news practice and concept can become the mainstream paradigm and value guidance of thejournalism has caused reflection and discussion.Through the heavy elaboration and theoretical observations,the abstract and generalization of the practice and concept,paradigm and value of the Huffington Post online news community,control analysis of news production,and news field characteristics,and The inner logic behind practice and concept is the unity of universality and particularity.The final destination and end result of this paper is the practice and concept of news production in the Huffington Post,paradigm and value change.,And under the current development of the node,in the face of the "Huffington Post" limitations and development space proposed reasonable evasion,learning and thinking.
