Along with the development of Internet technology,the journalism industry is facing great uncertainty.Crisis can be seen everywhere,from press agencies to communication institutions,and then to the normal audiences.The few existed principles that help distinguish the professionals and the nonprofessionals are fading away.The way of producing and using news is also changing dramatically."Innovation" seems to be the inevitable choice for journalism both in industry and academic field.At the same time,news production has changed from an institutional privilege to a part of the overall information dissemination ecosystem,in which all kinds of formal institutions,informal organizations,and many individuals are showing up.What we call "Journalism Amateurism",which contains the generalization of news production,and the variation of news products,is now encountering a real "Trust Issue".At the same time,blockchain technology,which is regarded as a"trust-making machine",has gradually stepped down from the altar of technology to a more common field.With the "traceable and tamper-proof'features,it is believed to provide a new solution of reconnecting the society with trust."Journalism Innovation" has become a major way to cope with technological changes and economic recession.Innovation itself is seem to be not only happening in real life,but as a lens for researchers to see through the reality as well.A comprehensive review of the current academic research shows that the Journalism Industry is putting itself in a passive position in facing the fast changing of Internet Technology.However,the innovation results are leading to a new perspective that the journalism industry(especially the news production r),never stops trying to face up to its multifaceted influence,and tries to develop new production methods through active innovation.Therefore,under the theoretical framework of Journalism innovation,the study of the blockchain technology and news production aims to highlight the subjectivity of the Journalism industry itself.To explain the complexity and diversity in the process of news production innovation and make the evaluation system more professional and objective,two well-known blockchain media platform,Civil and Steemit,are chosen to be the research objects.Those two platforms were proved to help a lot in conducting in-depth case analysis and observation of new production mode of Blockchain Journalism.Through the analysis of the two platform cases,based on the framework of news production innovation,it is found that blockchain technology promotes the convergence of news production from the intervention of technology to the optimization of new production roles.Moreover,it collaborate both the governance and operation system,news production and consumption,eventually achieve the goal of building a decentralized and transparent news market.This study also introduces the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)into Journalism research field for the first time and proposes two parallel and complementary evaluation systems based on "Perceptible Innovation" theory and"Actor Network Theory".The paper outputs a complete set of innovation evaluation analysis results for the two platform cases respectively,which are used to test the innovation achievements of the production mode based on theoretical analysis in the field of practice,and analyze the reasons of why the innovation results encountered such difficulties when it comes to diffusion.In the trend of technology-driven innovation,we also need to constantly think about whether it is inevitable in journalism development,or whether it will instead lead the whole industry into the trap of "Technology Utopia" once again.
