Since 1990s,Chinese cement EPC enterprises rose in leap.On one hand,massive orders were signed for over-size projects within 20 years,especially in countries on "one belt and road".Altogether,tens of hundreds cement production lines were built all over the works.On the other wise,however,Chinese enterprises met with a lot of difficulties for oversea business that never faced them before.Low profit,lagging technology,and over-heating competition,are big challenges for companies under "Go abroad" policy.Due to lower profit,most Chinese companies are constrained in lower and medium end market,before even heading to superior market.Calculating by cement capacity,China takes 38%of global market,but net profit only plays 7%share.In addition,including China,most countries see excessive cement producing capacity.In 2017,China see annual cement producing capacity of 2.4bn tons,though actual usage rate is less than 40%.That is the reason behind off-peak period for cement engineering industry.Under this background,in order to survive and grow,Sinoma Nanjing has to study and envision company development strategy,by building core competitiveness on sustained development,aiming for business transformation and upgrading at the end,among fierce competition.This article summarize relevant corporation strategy management theory and prevailing cement industrial development study in domestic market first,which defines theoretical methodology and studying direction.Based on the actual situation of Sinoma Nanjing,with consideration of related theory on strategic management within China and abroad,data was collected,selected and processed,within emphasis on practice and theory,micro-economic climate for the company was concluded by using PEST analysis,as well as industrial competition by using Porters Five Forces Model.Besides,SWOT analysis was made,by analyzing external opportunity and challenge,self-pros and cons.Company development strategy is under systematic study and planning with help of theoretical analyze and practical case study,as well as quantitative and qualitative analysis,in order to work out future strategy by elaborating on how to implement and control development for best solution.This article is written to analyze the internal and external conditions which Sinoma Nanjing is facing,among the harsh and complex cement market,by using strategic management theory,concept and tools.In accordance,four development strategies are worked out,on globalization,differential competitiveness,innovation and talent driven,thanks to strategic forming modeling tools.It is wished to provide effective theoretical support and evidence in practice for management to make decisions,and serve as reference for other companies in cement engineering business.
