Wu'an City is affiliated to Handan City,Hebei Province.The geographical position is in the contact part of the Taihang Mountain uplift and the subsidence of the North China Plain.The temperature difference between day and night is large,and the climate is particularly suitable for millet cultivation.Wu'an planting millet has its inherent advantages.Because the topography is mostly hilly and dry land,the millet receives more light during the planting process.The millet that grows locally has golden color and sweet taste.At present,the General Administration of Quality Supervision,Inspection and Quarantine has approved the implementation of the protection of geographical indication products for "Wu'an millet".The quality of Wu'an millet has been recognized by consumers.Although the packaging style of Wu'an millet in the market is diverse,after investigation and research,it is found that many Wu'an millet packaging designs are basically a set of traditional elements,ignoring the important role of Wu'an millet in regional culture.The packaging materials are basically made of more popular cartons and plastic bags.This packaging material does not conform to Wu'an millet's attributes in terms of function and appearance.Packaging text and design elements are also extremely disproportionate,lacking creative effects.Although it has a high reputation in the region,many packaging problems have caused Wu'an millet to remain at the stage of self-production and self-sale,and the brand influence cannot be promoted on a large scale.This paper hopes to re-excavate the regional culture of Wu'an millet to study its packaging design,speed up the realization of packaging innovation,and establish Wu'an millet brand image so that it can develop well.The first chapter of the thesis mainly describes the topic selection,the current situation and method of the topic selection,the significance of the topic selection,and the innovation of the thesis research.The second chapter is the influence of Wu'an millet on the regional cultural development,mainly from the Neolithic period,the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.During the period,the development of the Eighth Route Army during the Anti-Japanese War and the current stage of the discussion;the third chapter analyzes the current situation of Wu'an millet packaging at present,mainly the problems of homogenization,cottageization,and inconspicuous packaging technology;the fourth chapter from macroscopic From the perspective of regional culture,we will explore the ways to improve Wu'an millet,and explore Wu'an millet packaging from the aspects of magnetic mountain culture,idiom culture in the area,and the red revolutionary culture of "millet plus rifle".The fifth chapter is the use of magnetic in regional culture.The design practice of combining Shan culture with Wu'an millet packaging,with the design concept of “Suyuan” brand,carries out in-depth research on brand fonts,original relics of magnetic mountain,color arrangement and materials of packaging;the sixth chapter is Wuan millet The future development of packaging,planning the future development direction of Wu'an millet packaging from the perspective of brand promotion;Conclusion and Outlook is the main summary "millet Source" series overall packaging design ideas as well as the author of the Muan millet can build brand expectations.
