"China Time-honored Brand" is the precious wealth of our country,bearing the rich cultural accumulation of the Chinese nation.Nowadays,the vitality of the time-honored brand is constantly sublimated,and at the same time,the packaging of major brands in the market is diversified.Consumers have more choices in product packaging,and people’s aesthetics and cognition are constantly changing.Compared to emerging brands in the market,time-honored brands with a long history and cultural heritage are gradually moving away from the public’s attention.More than half of time-honored brands,such as Lao Dingfeng,find it difficult to stimulate their own value.Today’s consumer demand for products is not only limited to a single level,but also focuses on cost-effectiveness and practicality when choosing products.At the same time,appearance has become particularly important,which can provide customers with a different sensory experience from other products.Nowadays,personalized products are increasingly favored by people and can meet their high-level needs.Among many well-known time-honored brands,China Time-honored Brand Dingfeng has always been trusted by the public,with a long history of inheritance skills and product quality worthy of public trust.In order to inherit and protect China’s time-honored brand and shape a new brand image,this paper starts with Harbin’s characteristic food pastries,and takes the traditional pastry "Lao Dingfeng" packaging as the carrier to conduct a study on the visual cultural expansion of the upgraded design of the old Dingfeng brand pastry packaging.Starting from local culture,it deeply explores and analyzes the brand’s regional culture and humanistic emotions.Responding to the national call to integrate green and environmental protection concepts in packaging,positioning consumers who purchase Laodingfeng pastry products,adding product interactivity,extracting elements such as pastry,regional culture,and traditional handicrafts in graphic language,and embodying them in the form of illustrations on a certain product packaging to enhance brand image,promote the development of local tourism economy,promote and promote the traditional culture of the old brand and the regional characteristics of Harbin.Through the research on the upgrading design of the old Dingfeng time-honored brand image,it provides certain academic reference and reference for the upgrading design of China Time-honored Brand image.
