Research On Reading Promotion Of Children's Picture Books In Public Libraries

The picture book was born in Europe in the 17 th century.It was introduced to China in the 1980 s.The picture book can be divided into adult picture books and children’s picture books according to the adaptation objects.The research object of this paper is a children’s picture book.It is a children’s book with large and vivid pictures and short and easy-to-understand text.It is very suitable for children’s reading in preschool and elementary school,which is beneficial to stimulate children’s reading interest and cultivate children.Reading habits,enriching children’s imagination and creativity,have an irreplaceable role in the development of children’s physical and mental health.Today in the 21 st century,picture book reading has become the fashion of children’s reading in the world.The cognition and practice of picture book reading in China’s mainland is still in its infancy,and it is vigorously promoting the reading of pictures.This paper firstly gives a brief overview of the related concepts of the picture book,analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the public book to carry out the reading and promotion of the picture book,and then analyzes the object,method and content of the general reading promotion and picture book reading promotion.Using SWOT analysis method to conduct a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of public library in the reading and promotion of picture books,and enumerate and discuss some cases of reading and promotion of picture books in public libraries at home and abroad,and finally summarize and propose public libraries.The optimization strategy of picture book reading promotion.
