Research On Female Reading Promotion Service In Public Libraries

Reading is a way for human beings to acquire knowledge and skills,realize self-improvement and inherit human civilization.But in today's society in China,There is still a gap between the reading level of women and that of men.As the carriers of human cultural heritage,public libraries have their own responsibilities and unique advantages in meeting women's reading needs and promoting women's reading.This paper starts with the current situation of women reading in China,in view of the female reading tendency and the factors affecting women reading,points out the existing problems and conditions of women's reading promotion in public libraries in China,carries on the case analysis,put forward that public libraries should give full play to their advantages in manpower and material resources,use the latest digital information technology and the help of outside organizations,focusing on the different needs of different women groups,starting from many aspects,propose a plan to improve women's reading promotion activities.
