Study On The Picture Book Exhibition In China

With the development of the idea and technology of publishing,the picture books in the modern sense are beginning to appear.Since the introduction of picture books in China,it has been developing rapidly,and its value is constantly being recognized.Its aesthetic function and educational function play an important role in the growth of readers,and are loved by a large number of children readers and adults.In the new era,the picture books are in high speed development and innovation,and have brought out new ways of communication,such as picture book museum,picture book play,picture book exhibition and so on.This development is due to people's new needs and expectations for reading.In essence,the picture book exhibition belongs to the information dissemination activity,which has social and economic benefits.In the development of picture book exhibition,entertainment,reading,interaction,parent-child education and so on form a consumption scenario.The content resources and reading promotion services of picture books become readers' interest points and consumption points.In this paper,the background and significance of the exhibition of Chinese picture books are analyzed in detail by the theory of exhibition,communication and publishing.The development of China's picture book exhibition is sorted out in chronological order.Combined with the three representative examples of picture books exhibition,including the BIBF international.picture book exhibition,Cai Gao picture book exhibition and the Ji Mi picture book exhibition,we summarize and compare the exhibition theme,activity organization and exhibitors.Through the study,the development of the picture book exhibition in China is combed,and the following conclusions can be drawn.The picture book exhibition is developing towards more mature aspects,forming an important platform based on the picture book,focusing on activities like celebrity activities,reading promotion and other activities,highlighting the functions of picture book exhibition,cultural dissemination,brand promotion,copyright transaction and so on.But there are still some problems,such as the management is not standardized,regional development is uneven;the professional talent less;exhibition professional level needs to be improved,the profit model is not mature;the creation and promotion of high-quality original picture contents are to be strengthened etc.The suggestions from many aspects,such as strengthening the government support,the publishing industry and the exhibition industry to seek industry cooperation and integration,improve the level of exhibition;enhance the creation and development of high-quality original picture books,excellent experience of foreign related books,book exhibition,exhibition play picture greater social and economic benefits.
