Research On The Reading Promotion Of Children's Pictrue Book In Public Library

In recent years,the picture book has become one of the main forms of children's reading,in some countries reading promotion of picture book has become a common concern of the whole society.It is little late for us to promote reading of picture book.Although some public libraries began to pay attention to study the reading promotion of picture book,but they has not formed a set of mature theory of picture book reading promotion model.public library has the responsibility and obligation to actively explore the reading promotion of picture book and develop children's reading interest and reading habits.This study uses the survey method,such as the questionnaire survey method,the On-the-spot interview method and the case analysis method to carry on the investigation of the children's picture book reading status,through the investigation we find that :(1)The public library child reader generally likes reading the picture book,the parents generally thought that the picture book reading is good for the children;(2)The needs of children readers include: to provide high-quality picture book,to carry out various reading activities and reading guide,etc.(3)Some readers do not know the library reading activities and did not participate in the picture book reading activities.The work of the reading promotion of children picture book should be improved.Finally,according to the survey results,we give out some suggestions as follows:(1)perfecting the drawing-book procurement channels,scientific,strengthening the management of picture books,attaching importance to the recommendation of the bibliography,and;(2)carrying out various interesting picture book reading activities and strengthening the reading promotion;(3)To strengthen the training of librarians and parents in reading instruction,(4)to recuit the volunteer and to carry out multiple cooperation in picture book reading promotion activities.
