| Reading promotion in public libraries is an action effort to build a reading society for all people.Individuals can acquire knowledge,broaden their horizons,and enhance their own cultural literacy and the whole quality of the nation,promoting the formation of a good social reading culture and the construction of learning society.The emergence of digital and smart technologies has made reading promotion not limited to offline activities,but also carried out online and offline integrated promotion activities in the context which is characterized by breaking through time and space.The public library reading promotion is open to the public,and its participating subjects include individual users,organizations and social groups,etc.Public libraries seek and attract dynamic cooperation from all walks of life,incorporating different participating subjects into reading promotion activities at the same time,and jointly promoting the dissemination and transmission of social memory and cultural knowledge.This paper introduces the concept of value co-creation,based on the interpretation of the conceptual system and theoretical basis of public library reading promotion,analyzes the information dissemination process of public library reading promotion from the perspective of value co-creation,explains the motivation of public library reading promotion from the dimensions of satisfying users’ demands,and constructing identity and enhancing cultural memory.The mechanism of public library reading promotion is discussed in forms of library-leading,user-leading,cross-border cooperation and cocreation of multiple subjects.The mechanism of public library reading promotion under the perspective of value co-creation is presented in the process of consensus building,subject interaction and resource integration.In the perspective of value co-creation,the practical dilemma of public library reading promotion is revealed in the dimensions of policy guarantee,reading supply,reading promotion cooperation system and the literacy improvement of participating subjects.The optimization strategies are proposed,such as enhancing policy protection,optimizing reading supply,building an effective reading promotion cooperation system and improving reading promotion literacy of participating subjects. |
