With the increasingly powerful functions of mobile electronic devices,the stereoscopic display technology is also continuously applied to mobile products.As a display device,the resolution of the display screen is continuously improving with the market demand.At present,the basic requirements for the resolution of mobile display devices have reached 1080 P,and more and more products have been developed in the direction of 4K resolution.With the increase in display resolution,the bandwidth requirements for image transmission continue to increase,and traditional mobile electronic device display drive interfaces have been difficult to meet the performance requirements of current electronic devices for low power consumption,low electromagnetic interference and high transmission bandwidth.MIPI(Mobile Industry Processor Interface)DSI(Display Serial Interface)interface is a serial image display interface specially developed for mobile display devices,and it has a wide range of applications in the current mobile industry.Based on the MIPI DSI protocol,this paper studies and designs a MIPI serial interface that can support dual-port transmission and the transmission bandwidth can meet the dual-screen 1080 P resolution display.A single port supports up to 4 data lanes,where the clock channel uses a high-speed DDR clock,data lane0 supports bidirectional transmission,and supports DCS read and write commands.The design first divides the system into three structural layers according to the DSI protocol,namely the protocol layer,the channel management layer and the physical layer.The protocol layer mainly divides the input image data into two ports,and then preprocesses and packages the data of the two ports,and converts the data into the format of the MIPI protocol and sends it.The channel management layer mainly distributes the data packaged in the protocol layer to each enabled data channel.The physical layer mainly sends data to the downstream according to the timing and electrical requirements specified in the protocol to enable high-speed transmission or low-power transmission mode.The circuit of each module of the whole system is designed with Verilog language.For the simulation verification of each module,System Verilog is used to build a verification platform,and the simulation verification is performed through VCS software.The simulation and test results show that the designed MIPI interface circuit meets the timing requirements and can realize the transmission function of the MIPI interface.
