With the technology development of wearable equipment,it is possible to enjoy visual feast anytime and anywhere.Large size,high refresh rate and high resolution screen have higher requirement for displaying the interface bandwidth and function.The low transmission rate,single function and other disadvantages of the traditional parallel display interface are gradually emerging.This paper introduces a serial display interface based on MIPI protocol(mobile industry processor interface Moving Industry processor interface),which is applied to silicon-based LCD chip.It focuses on the design of digital circuits in the MIPI interface and the simulation of hybrid circuits.Digital circuit design part.Firstly,the MIPI interface Communication protocol is briefly introduced.The ECC calibration circuit is,then,designed to support an error-correcting and two-bit error-checking function.Secondly,designs the DSI-DPI format conversion circuit,the DPI interface outputs support RGB565,RGB666 and RGB888 three image formats.Finally,the DSI-DBI format conversion circuit is designed,which supports two modes of low power transmission and reverse transmission.In the Quartus,the digital Verilog HDL code is written,and Modelsim is called for simulation verification.A digital analog hybrid simulation verification section.And this paper introduces the hybrid Signal Simulation Foundation briefly,including the Verilog-A language used to describe the structure,behavior,characteristic parameters of analog circuits and the AMS simulator that supports a variety of hardware description languages.Then build the MIPI digital and simulate part of the simulation platform.In this paper,the digital test code can validate the digital module separately and also be used for mixing simulation which shortens the MIPI display interface design cycle.Finally,we use the Virtuoso software to complete the layout design and proceed the flow film under the SMIC 0.18 ?m.Finally,the silicon-based liquid crystal display chips are tested by using the T-500 Development Board of Intasect Technology.In the test,the success point displays the screen to indicating that the DSI-DPI format conversion circuit works properly.The display of the DCS command was successfully configured to indicating that the DSI-DBI format conversion circuit was working properly.The MIPI interface digital and analog parts are normal,which shows that the hybrid simulation is fully verified to the display interface.
