Research On "China High-Speed Rail" International Report

The development of China's high-speed rail has gone through ten years of ups and downs,from scratch,from catching up to leading,and has achieved tremendous achievements that have attracted worldwide attention.The report of the Ninth National Congress also clearly stated that "building a powerful transportation country".As a major transportation development,China's high-speed rail has attracted much attention from the media at home and abroad."People's Daily"(overseas version)as China's mainstream publicity media,studying its international reports can also provide inspiration for other media.In this context,this article takes "People's Daily"(overseas version)as the research object,and selects the reports with "China High-Speed Rail" as the main body from 2010 to 2019.Through content analysis,discourse analysis and other methods,from the number of reports,Starting with genre,source,theme,title and word frequency,it combed the characteristics,strategies and changes of China's high-speed rail international reporting,combined with relevant communication theory to analyze the report,explore the factors affecting the production of international reports,and finally reveal the "People The Daily(Overseas Version)reports internationally on the importance of China's high-speed rail.The study found that the People's Daily(overseas version)has experienced the greatest extent of reporting on China's high-speed rail,presenting the facts to guide public opinion to rebuild confidence,to providing and publicizing the Chinese plan,and to displaying the national image as the main process.In addition,its specific strategy is to use important nodes in the development of China's high-speed rail to set reporting topics,give equal attention to news and communications,put China's high-speed rail reports in the bulletin board,use positive and positive discourse rhetoric to organize content,and strengthen the theme.At the same time,China's high-speed rail's international reporting strategy is also facing some issues that need to be resolved urgently under the requirements of the "Belt and Road" initiative,the rise of "China's intelligent manufacturing",and the telling of "Chinese stories",such as economic and technological issues.Overweight,single source of information,limited public perspective,and lack of horizontal comparison with other high-speed rail countries,finally put forward corresponding countermeasures,trying to provide a feasible direction for other outreach journals to report on China's high-speed rail.
