With the development of information technology and the advent of the Internet era,social media is highly developed.People's life is 24 hours through social media.More and more people are socializing on social media.People create content,consume content,and share content.However,with the increasing diversification of social media platforms,people are being overwhelmed by more and more information,being overwhelmed by too many pages,content,friends and contacts,and spending too much time and energy on keeping up with the dynamics and keeping in touch.These make them feel overwhelmed,social media burnouts are spreading and spreading,and burnout makes people less likely to use social media or even leave.For the users,the new media technology is constantly innovating and developing.They cannot survive from social media,but the intrusion caused by fragmentation time and space exists.How to attract users to participate and improve the vitality of the application is the focus of attention for operators.Therefore,it is especially necessary to understand the causes and consequences of user burnout and help users cope with these pressure sources.This study takes the WeChat circle of friends as the research object,and the causes of the fatigue behavior of WeChat friends and the negative behaviors caused by the fatigue are the research problems.Reviewing the literature in related fields,taking SOR theory as the research framework,from the perspective of social media fatigue,this paper proposes the social media fatigue and its negative use behavior model of WeChat friends circle.In the model,information load,social overload,social generalization,negative social comparison,and privacy concerns are S stimuli,social media fatigue is O internal organism factors,and diving,neglect,shielding,and exit behaviors are used.Negative use behaviors of different intensities were studied for R response factors.The research method is to verify the proposed research model by means of questionnaires.Data analysis results show that content load,social overload,negative social comparison,privacy concerns,social anxiety have a positive impact on social media fatigue,user social media fatigue on WeChat friends circle diving behavior,neglect behavior,shielding behavior,exit behavior,etc.The use behavior has a positive impact.Secondly,through the in-depth analysis of the interviews,the user's have media migration,and the return to small group communication are discovered.Finally,based on the discussion and analysis of the research results,it puts forward suggestions for the operation practice and future research direction of social media.
