In recent years,the study of the individual subjective well-being has a long history with the increasingly development of domestic social and economic and social overall is also from the pursuit of economic high speed growth in the number of transformation to the pursuit of a better life quality development,relevant academic research on subjective well-being also presents the fast growth the tendency.However,there are more studies on the economic,social and psychological aspects of the research,and the research on communication and media use has not been seen yet.Media as an important part of social life,emotion,cognition,idea and attitude towards the user must be a direct impact,so as to affect the user's subjective well-being,particularly in emerging social media has been widely used,analysis from the perspective of communication studies,social media users use behavior and the relationship between the subjective wellbeing of the individual,has an important academic and practical significance.Of this study is to through the micro letter a circle of friends has covered almost all users of social networking applications,academic references to related research achievements of social media use,and subjective well-being,micro letter friends oriented user provide relevant questionnaire survey,and collected 489 valid samples,based on the statistics,media usage,measure of social capital,subjective well-being,and demonstrates the relationship between each variable,by the "circle of friends is more happiness," the subject is given a more empirical and rational answer.Through to validate assumptions,the study found that: 1)WeChat circle of friends of media exposure levels(using the frequency,duration)and individual revealed a certain correlation between subjective well-being,but it is more a negative correlation,namely WeChat friends use frequency,the more users,the length of the lower instead of subjective well-being.2)there is a positive correlation between the media information demand(release,sharing,comment,interaction)and subjective well-being of WeChat friend circle users.A relatively large number of behaviors such as publishing,sharing,commenting and interaction will lead to a higher level of subjective well-being.3)according to the research,a higher level of micro letter media contact circle of friends have significant correlation to individual social relations breadth,have specific interaction at the same time,makes the individual in terms of the breadth and depth of social relations have a bigger help,to feel their own social capital accumulation.Accumulated in individual social capital can at the same time,under the premise of the interactive behavior of micro letter friends use(some praise,review,forwarding,etc.)strength,showed a stronger effect of mediation,i.e.micro letter degree of media information needs more help in the circle of friends,the accumulation of social capital and its individual subjective well-being is relatively high.This study through WeChat circle of friends for social media users behavior from the perspective of communication studies analysis of the relationship between subjective well-being and has carried on the preliminary discussion,but the institute based on the theory and practice has developed rapidly,especially related to subjective well-being and social media use behavior research,in recent years,with the deepening of the academic research and the development of media technology,still presents the trend of rapid development.At present,the influence mechanism of social media on subjective well-being is ambiguous,and the mechanism of the role of social media users' subjective happiness is still controversial and inconclusive.The measurement mainly USES subjective happiness scale,lack of standardized tools.Existing research on the influence factors of social networking users subjective well-being have focused on personality traits,demographic factors,social behavior patterns and intensity of use,but the lack of integration and unity between factors.In addition,combined with domestic social media environment,and localization and crosscultural differences in subjective well-being aspects,these are put forward for follow-up studies further requirements,need to be developed and deep in the related research in the future.
