Overseas Edition Of The People's Daily Research On Sino-us Relations (2008-2018)

Sino-US relations are recognized as the most important bilateral relations in the international community.Since 1979,when China and the United States signed the Communique on the Establishment of diplomatic Relations,the interaction and cooperation and interdependence between the two countries have been increasing day by day in the 40 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States.In the post-cold war era,China and the United States,as models of national cooperation under two different ideologies,received worldwide attention.Of course,the path of development and cooperation between the two countries was not entirely smooth sailing.Its complexity and variability have been revealed in the agenda and development trajectory of bilateral relations between the two countries.After the rapid development of the early 21 ^stcentury,Sino-US relations show more and more new features.With the shift of balance of power between China and the United States,the western media wantonly The untrue information about China has resulted in an unfriendly international public opinion environment for China.2020 is the decisive period for building a well-off society in an all-round way.For China,it is more necessary for China to have a "kind" external international public opinion environment.Therefore,from the point of view of news communication,this paper tries to follow People's Daily's overseas edition-the coverage vision of China's mainstream foreign media.The two-term Obama administration of the Democratic Party and the Republican Trump administration in the early years of China-US relations reports and analysis.This study involves a total of 1111 reports on Sino-US relations in the overseas edition of People's Daily.The study dates from January 2008 to January2008.From January 1 to December 31,2018,spanning 11 years,the aim is to provide Chinese media with some suggestions on news coverage and realistic decision-making on Sino-US relations,and to enhance the guiding power of China's media in the field of international news and communication in the future.The influence and credibility make it easier for the audience at home and abroad to better understand China's real social development and the trend of Sino-US relations in the coming years through the report on Sino-US relations.
