Research On The Report Of Sino-soviet Relations In People's Daily(1949-1959)

On October 3,1949,China and the Soviet Union formally established diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial level,opening the prelude to the relations between the two major socialist countries.The relationship between the two parties and the two countries was formed in the special international background during the Cold War when the socialist and capitalist camps were in opposition for a long time.The relationship between the two parties and the two countries underwent complex and subtle changes along with the international situation,which had an important impact on China's social politics,economy and culture.As the largest Party newspaper in China at that time,People's Daily had extensive and rich news reports on Sino-Soviet relations,which were helpful for a deeper understanding of sino-Soviet relations.From 1949 to 1959,Sino-Soviet relations experienced honeymoon period,run-in period,discord period and conflict period,and witnessed the history from intimacy to gradual separation.This paper selects a large number of news reports on Sino-Soviet relations in People's Daily newspaper from1949 to 1959.By using the method of statistical analysis and referring to the relevant achievements of journalism,this paper explores the general situation of sino-Soviet relations publicity from the perspective of People's Daily,so as to discuss the bridge and complex relationship of responsibility between the propaganda platform of party and government policies and the guidance of public opinion.First,based on a large number of news about Sino-Soviet relations,a corpus of sino-Soviet relations reports was established to support the research.Then it analyzes the reporting forms of Sino-Soviet relations in People's Daily,including politics,economy,society,culture,sports and art news,news,newsletter,editorial and so on.Finally,on this basis,using data analysis technology,explore the characteristics of sino-Soviet relations report,based on Textrank technology generated keywords,and on this basis,using word cloud technology for visualization,generated word cloud map,more intuitive;Snownlp technology is used to analyze the emotional polarity of news reports and grasp the emotional tendency of sino-Soviet propaganda reports.Analyze and conclude the characteristics of news reports.To explore the significance of sino-soviet relations report,summary and further analysis of the People's Daily on the sino-soviet relations propaganda have any effect on before and in the future,which effectively promote the sino-soviet political mutual trust,laid the foundation for China's socialist economic construction,promote the sino-soviet thought communication between the two countries,to consolidate the ideological front of socialism countries set up the model.At the same time for today's society left a rare publicity experience.Throughout the propaganda reports of People's Daily on Sino-Soviet relations,the newspaper gave full play to its role of public opinion guidance and actively led the masses with its specific reporting methods,which provided certain reference for the propaganda of sino-Soviet relations today.The history of Sino-Soviet relations and their influence on Chinese society from 1949 to1959 proves that the relations between good-neighborly,friendly and cooperative countries are in line with the development trend of today's world,which is of vital importance for promoting the rapid,healthy and stable development of Chinese society,politics,economy and culture.
