More and more information are fragmented to spread in information ocean of current circumstances.Users are involved into producing and disseminating fragmented information directly which makes people pay more attention to collect,process,store and organize micro knowledge and information.Meanwhile,profound changes have happened in behaviors of seeking,getting,utilizing and communicating with information,and all of these make it possible for the appearance and development of micro information service.Because modern life paces more and more fast,people do not have rich time to complete knowledge but to read with phones or other mobile devices through a fragmented way in spared time.It shows that there is a conflict between traditional way of knowledge supplying and current fast-paced lifestyle,and people need a new way of knowledge supplying to meet their information and knowledge demands.Micro-knowledge service is the deepening and development of micro information service and it is a kind of high-end service.The conception of micro service has been rooted in hearts of people and it is inevitable for micro knowledge service to be a new direction in the advantages of the wide spread of information technology and information service in new century.The paper studies the micro knowledge service in our countries' libraries from the perspective of user demand.The current situation of micro knowledge service that provided in public libraries and academic libraries in China was investigated,and then to combine the research on demands of micro knowledge service,the paper probes into the methods to improve the situation of library micro knowledge service in china.First of all,the paper studies on theories of micro knowledge service.Based on theories of micro information,micro dissemination and knowledge service,the paper pays attention to the connotation,models and so on and then the theoretical framework of micro knowledge service was formed primarily.Then,the paper analyses and defines the connotation of micro knowledge from the aspect of content,form,system platform,terminal and other aspects.Besides,some basic problems such as development background,theoretical basis,concepts,elements,influence factors,characteristics,types and significance are analysed and elaborated.In addition,based on the theories of micro dissemination,minimalism,mobile information service and knowledge organization and service,the framework model of micro knowledge service is proposed which includes service provider,technology,content,user,method and so on.Secondly,the paper investigates the current situation of micro-knowledge service that provided in our countries' libraries from the aspects of platforms,contents,strategies,promotions and others.The existing problems about micro service source,contents,patterns and other aspects between public and academic libraries is discussed through methods of literature survey,online survey and so on.Furthermore,the user demands of micro knowledge service in china are studied and the fundamental characters of it are counted and analysed.Besides,cross-analysis was conducted according to age,gender,education,occupation and other factors of the respondents.At last,directed at the problem arose in the micro-knowledge service that implemented in libraries of China.Strategies are as follows:? Catching the characteristics of the era of knowledge economy,and to promote micro knowledge service actively;? Investigating user demands and being targeted to improve the micro knowledge service;? Utilizing the experience of user by updating and optimizing knowledge service technology;? Using existing platforms to explore their own characteristics and improving innovation;? Improving the way and function of micro knowledge service to increase user satisfaction;? Reinforcing dissemination and promotion to increase the penetration and utilization rate of micro knowledge service.
