This paper studies the use of micro-electronic document format for structured indexing to improve the machinery of natural language analysis to facilitate electronic document-based scholars, academic exchange activities. This paper is divided into five chapters, devoted, respectively, and academic exchanges and microformats technology-related research results and applications, indicating the ways and means of academic exchange the advantages and disadvantages, and explore the use of microformats electronic documents to enhance academic exchanges on the possible effects of way.The first chapter is the introduction, this chapter discusses in the information age, people old ways and means of communication have undergone drastic changes in the ways and means of academic exchange also has undergone enormous changes. On the one hand that the information science and information exchange as a closely related discipline, in adapting to the new era of environmental and technological conditions, the academic literature-based electronic exchange to provide new help to the importance and feasibility. On the other hand is also noted in the new era of environmental and technological conditions of adaptation, is the development of information science must face and solve a key problem. The key to solve this critical problem lies in how the data contained in electronic documents for effective information discovery and use. Semantic Web concepts and some realization of the proposal, pointed out that the use of structured electronic document indexing is feasible options to solve this problem. As a branch of the Semantic Web, a system of microformats and technology options to solve this problem one. The paper discusses the microformats and technology system in structured indexing advantages; let us see the technology of using micro-electronic document format for structured indexing is feasible. This chapter also discusses the micro-based format and research status of academic exchange and innovation of the paper and writing technical route. In chapter second chapter, the main concept of micro formats, micro-format technology system, microformat approach and the definition of research and application of micro-formats were systematically discusses the status quo.Through discussion, let us have a microformats and general understanding of technical systems, as discussed further provides a theoretical and practical basis. In third chapter focuses on analysis of the existing model of mature academic exchanges, academic exchanges and common indexing methods and applied to the knowledge of new technologies. Model is integrated throughout the academic exchange process is based on age and technical background to establish. And academic exchanges, then it is in the context of a certain age and technology used in academic communication methods, is a single, normally not against each other, can be a model for academic exchanges as an integral part. General academic exchange mode can be divided into traditional and Web-based, two exchange model is based on their age and technical background to establish, therefore, in general, the exchange of Web-based model is more consistent with current requirements of academic exchanges, more advantages.RSS/Atom, and RDF, both knowledge and technology is knowledge-based indexing element, used in network resource sharing technology. Their information resources through the network to regulate the description of the purpose of indexing, and indexing in the traditional sense there are some differences. Traditional indexing faces a single knowledge, both of which can be achieved indexing methods that meet the knowledge indexing.Chapter IV discusses four kinds of help to improve the use of academic exchanges, they are based or for the use of electronic documents, namely, electronic pre-print system, Docbook, CNKI Knowledge Network Node and CAJViewer reader. Electronic pre-print system to speed up the academic literature in the dissemination of information superiority, to a certain extent, to ensure smooth academic exchanges.Docbook documents in electronic format and content of separation on the use of electronic document conversion work makes it easier and more effective, to ensure the accuracy of the electronic document. CNKI How Net section makes use of electronic documents based on academic exchange into a new area. Knowledge Network Node realized effective indexing of electronic documents, electronic documents with information about the link, then the link between the electronic documents, further literature and knowledge linked to a large extent, to the knowledge achieved joined together to form the great concept of knowledge networks. The great concept of the partial realization of the electronic document based on academic exchange activities had a profound influence and promote. CAJViewer CNKI reader is introduced for the reader's own literature, it can be launched on CNKI electronic documents and other document formats it supports non-linear reading, and can function through their link to the related literature for readers to read and check. A certain extent, solve the structural problem of inadequate electronic documents. The fifth chapter is the focus of the full text chapters, the chapter on micro-formats knowledge on the use of indexing, using more mature micro-format data dissemination and retrieval, to realize the electronic document from the microformats logo, index, eventually applied academic exchange. Two kinds of knowledge through XMDP and XOXO identification technology, electronic documents are identified, the data format used for the micro-search engines to index these documents, users log on these engines to realize the micro-formatted electronic document retrieval, because micro-format the structure of the electronic document a high degree can be the most critical information literature indexing them, so scholars can easily find and retrieve useful academic information, to enhance the quality of academic exchange activities, in order to contribute to academic development.
