Children are in a critical period of physical and mental development,so they need to read traditional culture content and enhance their reading literacy.As the main position for children's traditional culture reading,the children's library holds traditional cultural reading activities,which is conducive to promote the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional culture.The study uses the network survey method and questionnaire survey method to research some children's libraries and children's readers,comprehensively analyze their development situation and problems.In the way of theory and practice to propose the traditional culture reading promotion mechanism,and the specific implementation path of the children's library traditional culture reading promotion.This study is mainly discussed through the following seven parts: The first part mainly includes the research background and significance,and the domestic and international researches on children's library excellent traditional culture reading promotion,determine the basic content and research methods,and point out the innovation.The second part defines the concept of excellent traditional culture and children's readers,and interprets concept,characteristics and components of children's reading promotion.The third part is to investigate the development of the reading and children's library excellent traditional culture promotion activities,and to analyze the situation and problems.The fourth part is to investigate the participation of children's readers through questionnaires,and analyze the current participation the existing problems.The fifth part,according to the shortcomings of children's library traditional cultural reading activities and the problems together with children's readers participation,proposing development mechanisms,including combining children's library and parents and schools,cultivating reading promoters,reading resources construction,Graded reading,reader communication,and reading activities' evaluation.The sixth part is to propose the specific implementation path of children's library excellent traditional culture reading promotion,including cultivating reading interests of children's readers and enhancing reading ability,enriching reading content and innovating reading forms;continuing to optimize promotion mechanisms;enhancing integration of reading space and reading environment and growing reading experience;providing financial guarantee and policy support.In the seventh part is to conclude the study content and shortcomings,and propose future prospects.
