With the progress of science and technology,significant progress has been made in the communications industry,the long-discussed "three-network integration" really entered the implementation stage,in the communication network gradually realized the integration of voice,data and video and other services.As the leading industry of national strategy,communication industry has already realized high bandwidth and high rate of its core layer and bearer layer,so the access network layer at the bottom of the communication network becomes the bottleneck between LAN and backbone network.Therefore,research and development can meet high bandwidth,high speed,wide coverage,high efficiency of access technology has become a priority.In recent years,the technology of Passive Optical Network(PON),which is characterized by high rate and comprehensive access,has been widely applied.The passive optical network industry chain matures,making the investment cost of materials and equipment dropped sharply,has been recognized by the communication operators,FTTH(optical fiber to the household)implementation has been qualified.Gigabit PON,as one of the most perfect and most promising branch of PON series,has been large-scale applied in communication networks.Anshan Unicom Company conforms to the needs of network development and business competition,has begun to use GPON technology docking network for large-scale transformation and construction.Based on the analysis of existing resources and the current situation of the network,the author puts forward the corresponding construction planning plan and makes a detailed analysis of the concrete construction code to write this paper.This paper adheres to the principle of combining theory with practice to carry out research work.Firstly,the concept,function and development trend of optical access network are studied,and the composition,performance parameters,protocol standard and key technologies of GPON networks are emphatically discussed.Secondly,based on the analysis of the access network resources of Anshan Unicom,the author proposes building tenet,construction idea and planning plan of using GPON technology docking network to transform.This paper analyzes the key work of applying GPON technology to the upgrading of communication network,summarizes the deployment principle of olt equipment,the principle of ODN equipment deployment,QoS planning,network management system planning,and the protection switching scheme of PON network.It is instructive for operators to further develop the access network construction of GPON technology.By analyzing the practical application scenarios of different modes of GPON technology,this paper discusses the design and construction of access network for different scenes applying GPON technology,and expounds the construction results of the Access Network construction project using GPON technology in capacity,performance index,etc.It is proved that GPON technology can satisfy wants of the current users based on calls,internet browsing,high-definition VOD and other services.At the end of this paper,we point out that GPON technology needs to be perfected and put forward its own viewpoint on the evolution of GPON technology.In view of GPON construction,it is necessary to further optimize the deployment of ODN to reduce the cost of network investment,and take measures to overcome the problem of excessive attenuation and increase the transmission distance of the system.With the continuous emergence of high-bandwidth services,the PON technology,such as 10 GGPON,WDM-PON and other advanced technologies,which can give full play to the advantages of fiber-optic high transmission rate,will gradually enter into practicality,and get more and more applications.
