The College Research Data Service Model Based On Demand Identification

Research data is the important outcome of scientific research,it's the base of research work.Scientific management and advanced technology provides opportunities for research data services.Research data service is the information service model with research data as the management object.It uses a unified platform to process and classify data,and then provides the most valuable data to the research scientists.The goal of research data services is to help scientist to research the most efficiently.Most of the existed university research data service focus on the perspective of the demand identification.However,it lacks of a standard identification and reference.It is only based on the individual's understanding and ability of organizing the implementation of the project to ensure the scientificalness.Data assets framework(DAF)is mainly used for the identification of the scientific research data management needs.The framework can be divided into four stages: scientific research data management planning,identification and classification data assets,evaluation data management requirements,summary and suggestion.This article combines DAF with scientific research and data services,building the scientific research data service mode based on demand identification,and connect the demanded identification contents with research data service.It also provides the improvement strategies for the problems of scientific research and data services.The overall train of thought is as follows:(1)Introducing the research background,significance,content and methods,and pointing out the essentials of developing university research data services,which is the study of demands based data service models.Also analyzing the contribution and deficiency based the review of related research from domestic and overseas.(2)Introducing in details about the theory of DAF,scientific research data,the data lifecycle management,and service of scientific research data.The analysis of the role of identifying the demands in university scientific research and data services is also include in this part.(3)Through the investigation of the current practice situation of research data services,analyzing the key factors.Based on the comparison between the domestic and overseas service situation,finding out the current problem of research data service in our country.(4)Building the college research data service model based on demand identification.With the introduction of scientific research data management demands the identification of DAF,combining the specific identification process and the scientific research data services,and analyzing in details about each function module.(5)The existing problem of university scientific research data services exists in scientific research data service website,the scientific research data management platform,policy making,consulting and training,and service quality evaluation,etc.Base on these problems,this paper will need to identify the content combined with the several parts,so that to provide researchers with a more accurate research data services.(6)Summary and future direction.
