Research On The Choice Of Scientific Data Service Mode For The Institutional Research Data Repository Consortium In Colleges And Universities

With the maturity and development of the era of big data,the basic supporting role of scientific research data in university scientific research activities and the expandability of its potential value are becoming increasingly prominent.In order to help share scientific research data and dig up the value of scientific research data,Institutional Research Data Repository Consortium in Colleges and Universities came into being.Scientific research data service is the most direct link between IRDR alliance and users of scientific research data.Only by accepting a series of scientific research data services provided by IRDR alliance,can users of scientific research data feel the most intuitive contribution of IRDR alliance to their scientific research activities.The core of University IRDR alliance data service is data service around scientific research data.The increasing popularity of the "Fourth Paradigm" research mode urgently needs IRDR alliance to select high-quality research data service mode to meet the increasingly personalized,integrated and collaborative demand for scientific research data service.Based on the strategic alliance theory,data life cycle theory and collaboration theory,through a large number of literature research and network research for the more successful IRDR alliance cases in foreign universities,this paper identifies the research data service mode of IRDR alliance in case universities,and deeply analyses the core content and applicability of each research data service mode.Based on the basic situation of Chinese universities,this paper analyses the basis,process and result of data service mode selection of IRDR alliance in Chinese universities,and puts forward some suggestions on how to choose the data service mode of IRDR alliance in Chinese universities.The main body of this paper consists of six chapters:Chapter 1 is the introduction.The author elaborates the research background and significance of this paper,summarizes the literature research results carried out in the early stage of the study,and emphatically reviews the research status at home and abroad.In addition,the author also elaborates on the research content,research methods,innovations and difficulties of this paper.Chapter 2 is the definition of related concepts and theoretical basis.The definition of related concepts includes the definition of IRDR alliance,scientific research data service and the choice of scientific research data service mode;the theoretical basis includes the discussion of strategic alliance theory,data life cycle theory and collaboration theory.Chapter 3 is about the pattern recognition of IRDR research data service in universities.The author mainly identifies the research data service mode of IRDR alliance in case universities by network investigation in two aspects: the basic situation of the alliance and the existing research data service settings.The basic situation of alliance is mainly around eight aspects: alliance goal,alliance scale,service layout framework,organizational structure mode,alliance service operation mode,scientific research data policy,infrastructure and fund guarantee.The alliance's scientific research data service is mainly based on service type,and is elaborated one by one according to nine types of scientific research data service,such as related introduction and guideline service.The research results were discussed in detail.Finally,based on the above findings and related literature,the research data service model of IRDR alliance in selected universities is identified.Chapter 4 is the analysis of research data service model of IRDR alliance in universities.The choice of IRDR alliance scientific research data service mode in universities is based on two aspects: the objective situation of the alliance and the applicability of the alliance scientific research data service mode to various types of IRDR alliances in universities.Referring to the identification results of the data service model of each case alliance in Chapter 3,the author makes a selective analysis of the ideal model,service settings,model characteristics,advantages and disadvantages,implementation process and applicability of the data service model of IRDR alliance in Colleges and universities.It can be used as the basis for selecting the applicability of IRDR alliance in different types of universities.Chapter 5 is about the selection of research data service mode of IRDR alliance in Chinese universities.Referring to the basic ideas of the research on the research data service mode of IRDR alliance in foreign universities in Chapter 3 and the analysis results of the characteristics and applicability of the research data service mode of IRDR alliance in Universities in Chapter 4,this paper integrates the five aspects of policy guarantee,Alliance Construction and scientific research data service foundation,basic technical support,financial support and the willingness of scientific researchers in Chinese universities.This paper puts forward the basis for choosing the research data service mode of IRDR alliance in Chinese universities,combs the selection process of the research data service mode of IRDR alliance in Chinese universities,explains the selection content of the research data service mode of IRDR alliance in Chinese universities,and puts forward suggestions for the follow-up selection of the research data service mode of IRDR alliance in Chinese universities.Chapter 6 is the conclusion,which summarizes the conclusions of this study,reflects on and summarizes the limitations of this study,and puts forward ideas and research prospects for further deepening this study.
