Objective: By investigating the current status of nurses' occupational burnout, the relevant influencing factors were discussed,so as to provide theoretical basis for alleviating it.Methods: Totally 700 nurses from 13 general hospitals of Anhui Medical University(including the Fourth Affiliated Hospital)were investigated by convenience sampling. The questionnaire survey mainly included general demographic characteristics, different job characteristics, physical health status, job satisfaction, occcupaational burnout,Pittsburg sleep quality and so on.The influencing factors were analyzed by chi-squared test and ordered Logistic regression. Results: 700 nurses(30.5±6.5 years old)in affiliated hospitals of Anhui Medical University were investigated, including 35 males(5.0%)and 665 females(95.0%);Among them,342(48.9%)nurses were from the Fourth Affiliated Hospital, while 209(29.8%)nurses were from Chaohu Affiliated Hospital, and the rest were from other affiliated hospitals. In terms of job positions,321(45.9%)of them were in the internal medicine system,215(30.7%)of them were in the surgical system,112(16.0%)of them were in the medical technology system and the last were in the administrative system. The average score of burnout among nurses was(157.1±18.6),among which108(15.4%)had no or extremely slight burnout,291(41.6%)had mild or moderate burnout, and 301(43.0%)had severe burnout.Orderly Logistic regression analysis showed that: two-shift shift system [OR(95%CI): 1.924(1.101-3.361)],average working hours of 40 ~ 50h[OR(95%CI): 0.517(0.331 ~ 0.808)],current job satisfaction(general [OR(95%CI): 0.317(0.115 ~ 0.875)],satisfaction [OR(95%CI):0.122(0.043-0.349)],very satisfaction [OR(95%CI): 0.025(0.005 ~ 0.113)),physical condition(good [OR(95%CI): 2.760(1.205 ~ 6.320)],general [OR(95%CI): 5.416(2.313 ~ 12.685)],poor [OR(95%CI): 8.370(3.117 ~ 22.480)] and poor sleep quality(sleep disorder)[OR(95%CI): 2.554(1.583 ~ 4.122)] were the main influencing factors for nurses' occupational burnout. Conclusion: Nurses have a high rate of occupational burnout, which is related to frequent shifts, long working hours, poor physical and sleep status. Therefore, from the hospital level, nurses can be considered from the increase of staffing, reasonable scheduling, policy support, good career planning and other aspects to mobilize the initiative and enthusiasm. At the same time, nurses should always pay attention to their own physical and mental health, adopting various ways to adjust and relieve their own pressure, reducing occupational burnout, alleviating the adverse effects of occupational burnout.
