Abjective:To explore the influencing factors of nurses’ occupational burnout through investigating the current conditions of clinical nurses’ burnout in a grade A tertiary comprehensive hospital in Tai’an city, in order to provide a theoretical basis for prevention and intervening of clinical nurses’ burnout.Methods:Using method of cross-sectional study, do self-administered questionnaires for clinical nurses of a grade A tertiary comprehensive hospital of Tai’an city and analyze them. The study contents include:①General condition questionnaire;②Maslach burnout inventory human services survey. Use Excel2003to build the database and SPSS18.0to analyze them.Results:Positive rate of occupational burnout is41.5%, occupational burnout rate among low, middle, and high is47.1%,49.0%and3.9%respectively. The influencing factors of nurses’ occupational burnout detection rate and distribution by χ2inspection result:Job title, staffing level, personal health, working environment, patient’s trust, patient’s respect; Variance analysis shows the factors related to occupational burnout:department, technical post, gender, job title, years of working, staffing level, personal health condition, patient’s trust, patient’s respect. Factors affecting occupational burnout detection rate and distribution:Job title, staffing level, personal health, patient’s trust, patient’s respect, working environment etc. Nurses from pediatric department, female nurses, and senior nurses tend to have serious emotional exhaustion, nurses with better health condition, better working environment, high patient’s trust, high patient’s respect rate, high patient’s satisfaction rate have less emotional exhaustion problems. For head nurses, deputy head nurses, registered nurses of41years old or older, with26years or longer experience, their personal accomplishment is higher. Self-evaluation of working environment condition is poor, patients’trust rate is low, patients’ respect rate is low, the depersonalization is serious. Factors affecting emotional exhaustion through the two logistic analysis:department, technical title, personal health, working environment. Factors affecting:salary, job title, patients’ trust. Factors affecting personal sense of achievement:salary, job title, patient’s trust.Conclusions:1. Improve nurses’ psychological and physical quality. Increase some trainings of psychological quality, improve nurses’humanistic quality, improve the ability of communication with patients and other staff, guide nurses to drain unhealthy emotion.2. Set up better development platform.(1)Implement humanized management, build a good nursing culture, and reduce the pressure from work.(2)Increase the opportunities of medical treatment, scientific research, teaching and management; improve the status and professional abilities of nurses.(3)Promote the professionalization of work, provide vocational skills training to nurses, better use all kinds of medical equipment, etc.(4)Take the targeted measures to protect the key departments and medical staff.3. Provide good working environment.(1)Strengthen the nursing occupational protection training, avoid occupational infection and injury;(2)Strengthen the prevention of violence injury; ensure the safety of medical staff;(3)Strengthen the propaganda guidance, let the society understand and respect nurses.
