M Company,a well-known brand of the bathroom ceiling heater,is a private medium-sized enterprise,mainly engaged in the bathroom & kitchen ceiling appliances research and development,manufacturing,sales and services.In recent years,it has encountered unprecedented competition pressure.Not only the bathroom heater industry has already been in a fierce competitive environment,but also many types of industrial and commercial giants have entered the competition.Competing with many super-corporations,M Company is at an absolute disadvantage both in its comprehensive competitive power and brand popularity.In the fierce competition circumstance,the R&D project management of M Company can not guarantee the timely launch of new products to fit the market up to now,which will seriously hit the confidence of customers and restrict market demand.Therefore,M Company should optimize the project schedule management of new appliances research and development,adopt advanced project schedule management methods and combine with its own industry experience and technology accumulation for many years.Quickly and efficiently provides new products suitable for customers and market to further enhance the competitiveness of M company.This article takes the schedule management optimization of appliances R&D project of M Company as the research object.First of all,this paper introduces the background of M company and the R&D process of electrical products.Secondly,this essay analyzes the current situation and existing problems of theschedule management of appliances R&D project of M Company,and draws the conclusion that the project scope definition is not clear,the activities sequence is unreasonable,the estimation of activities time is inaccurate,the conflict of resources,the negative effect of the delivery in a late time and unqualified quality of supply of key components,and so on.Thirdly,It has been designed that is the project plan and schedule optimization scheme of appliances R&D project.The project schedule management tool is used to decompose the project activities,arrange the activities sequence,estimate the activities time,analyze project resources conflict,set buffer zones,and work out the schedule plan based on critical chain.The critical chain buffer dynamic control principle compares the actual progress of the project with the project schedule,monitors the buffer consumption ratio of the project in real time,and combines the schedule compression technology to take corrective measures in time to ensure that the project schedule is always in the controllable range.While monitoring and optimizing the project schedule,it also puts forward the implementation guarantee measures of the optimization scheme of the schedule management.Then,Through the example of X80 integrated ceiling electrical system R&D project plan and schedule management optimization of M company,applying the critical chain and schedule compression technology,the project schedule is expected to be effectively managed,and the expected effect of the implementation of the project schedule management optimization scheme is evaluated.Finally,the summary and prospect in this paper are put forward.The schedule management optimization of appliances R&D project is researched in this essay,which is expected to improve the project schedule management significantly.Not only can the progress of the R&D project be in a controllable range,but also effectively reduce the risk of the project,and thelaunch of new products will be guaranteed.In addition,The research results of this article have certain reference value for the improvement of other similar new products development projects in M Company.
