In the process of project construction,schedule management is one of the three main elements of project management,which directly affects the cost and quality of the project.In ATC project,the most commonly used project management is the critical path method,the Gantt chart method.Through the program to develop a reliable schedule,project manager could control the progress of the project,as far as get chance to reduce the influence of uncertain factors in engineering construction.However,after the development of the project plan,the process cannot be advance.In contract,the project may concur delay in the process of uncertainty.This is due to the uncertainty of the project,and "Parkinson's law","student syndrome",the project team of local delays happen will cause the project delay.Thus,project progress is hard to management.Obviously,the traditional project schedule management has its own defect.This paper bases on the schedule management analysis of ATC hall project,hoping to find a more suitable way than the traditional project management technology to solve the problems above.Critical chain method has the advantage of considering the schedule problem from a global perspective.To find the critical chain,the PM need to reduce the duration each process in the project to identify the optimal plan granularity,connect the tasks in a network that takes into account,estimate the duration of each task and identify the resources required,rearrange the resources that conflicted.Also,it need to set the buffer on the critical chain and non-critical chain.Critical chain will improve the probability of the on time completion of the project,as well as the efficiency of the project and save project cost.This paper considers the processes and resources,and puts forward the method of setting the buffer.Combined with the engineering example,the paper analysis and solves the problems the project actually facing.The paper mentions a practical and effective method for monitoring project progress.Finally,the simulation is carried out to verify the applicability of the method.This paper combines the project schedule theory with the construction of air traffic control project,provides a reference for other projects,has theoretical and practical significance.
