Research On The Application Of Critical Chain Technology In ERP Project Scheduling Management

The informatization construction of enterprises is an inevitable route to improve their overall competitive advantages.ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning)system plays an important role through this route.But in this process,there isn't any established scientific and rational planning system.We almost determine the project schedule based on project experiences,thus often resulting in project delays and more losses of time,resources and economies.Traditional scheduling methods can't meet the current situation of multitasking concurrent and resource constraints of ERP project.So in this paper,we introduce the critical chain technology from construction projects to study the feasibility of improving the success rate of ERP project implementation by strengthening ERP project scheduling management.Firstly,we analyzed the relational theories of ERP project management,critical chain technology and their research application situation.Then we summarized the present status and theoretical basis of project management,scheduling management and Critical Chain Technology to determine the object and methods used in this study.Secondly,we analyzed problems existed in ERP project scheduling management through literature research and practical experience.And then we summarized reasons for schedule delays,built ERP project schedule management model based on the Critical Chain Technology and introduced implementation steps.We did further analysis on the scheduling model,buffer management and schedule control based on Critical Chain Technology.What's more,we introduced the basic principle of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to do the cost-effectiveness evaluation to the result.Finally,take the ERP project implementation of enterprise Z as an example,we calculated and analyzed the effect of ERP project management based on Critical Chain Technology and did the specific analysis through drawing a network plan,resolving resource conflicts,setting up buffer and schedule control.Then we analyzed the feedback of project participants by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to assess the practical implementation effects.
