Research On The Coordinated Development Pattern Of Urbanization And Resource Environment Carrying Capacity In Fujian Province

Since the reform and opening up,China's urbanization has achieved remarkable results.The level of urbanization has risen from 17.92% in 1978 to 57.35% in 2016,and the urbanization process has been moving forward.In 2016,Fujian Province entered the stage of rapid development with 63.60% urbanization level,and the level and speed of urbanization was significantly higher than the national average.However,the increasing intensity of urbanization has caused increasing pressure on the resources and environment.A series of resource and environmental problems such as human-land conflicts,resource shortages,environmental pollution,and ecological damage have emerged.Resource and environmental carrying capacity as a comprehensive carrying capacity system that includes resource elements and environmental factors,its relationship with urbanization is becoming increasingly tense.It can be seen that the problem of coordinated and sustainable development between urbanization and resource environmental carrying capacity has become a “ bottleneck ” that restricts regional economic development.Reasonable urbanization development will promote harmonious coexistence,comprehensive coordination and sustainable development between man and nature.On the contrary,it will increase the pressure on regional resources and environment,and damage the sustainable development of the region and reduce the quality of regional development.Therefore,research on the coordination relationship between urbanization and resource environmental carrying capacity has extremely important theoretical and practical significance in maintaining regional ecosystem stability and economic sustainable development.On the basis of combing the previous research literature,this paper redefines urbanization and resource environmental carrying capacity.Under the guidance of system theory,coordinated development theory,human-land relationship theory and sustainable development theory,taking 9 districts in Fujian Province as the empirical research object.According to the natural and socio-economic conditions of Fujian Province,the evaluation index system of urbanization and resource environment carrying capacity is constructed.The Topsis comprehensive evaluation model is used to analyze the temporal and spatial pattern evolution characteristics of urbanization and resource environmentalcarrying capacity of each district in Fujian Province from 2007 to 2016;On the basis of this,the coupling coordination model is used to study the coordinated development relationship between the two,and the coordinated development pattern of urbanization and resource environment carrying capacity is summarized.And according to the synchronicity model,the synchronicity difference between different regions is analyzed,in order to provide scientific and reasonable policy recommendations for the coordinated development of urbanization and resource environmental carrying capacity in the region.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)From 2007 to 2016,the urbanization level of various cities in Fujian Province showed an overall rising trend,and the increase rate was large.From the perspective of spatial pattern,the high-level regions of urbanization turn from northwest to southeast,and finally show the spatial difference of high southeast and low northwest,and the development speed of urbanization in northwest is obviously slower than that in southeast coastal areas.From 2007 to 2016,the carrying capacity of resources and environment of various cities in the province presented a steady rising trend.Compared with other regions,the resources and environment of Sanming and Nanping were significantly improved.In terms of spatial pattern,the resource and environmental carrying capacity of the eastern region is slowly improving,while the resource and environmental status of the western region is constantly improving.The differences between regions with high level of resource and environmental carrying capacity in the whole province are gradually narrowing from the eastern region to the eastern region and the western region.(2)From 2007 to 2016,the coordinated development level of urbanization and resource environmental carrying capacity of each city in Fujian Province showed a relatively rapid growth trend,among which the coordinated development of Xiamen improved the most significantly,while the coordinated development level of Longyan increased the slowest.The overall characteristics of the spatial pattern show that the province has shifted from the barely coordinated development type to the well-coordinated development type.At present,the coordinated development level of the southeast coastal areas and the northwest mountainous hilly areas is generally high,showing a mass-like distribution pattern,and the regional differences are graduallynarrowing.This shows that the coordinated development conditions between urbanization and resource environmental carrying capacity has been continuously improved,and the coordination function between the two systems has been continuously optimized.From2007 to 2016,the synchronous type of urbanization and the bearing capacity of resource environmental has gradually changed from the type dominated by the lagging type of urbanization to the type dominated by the lagging type of resource environmental carrying capacity.Currently,the lagging type of resource and environment carrying capacity is mainly distributed in the eastern coastal areas.(3)According to the analysis of the coordinated development pattern of urbanization and resource environmental carrying capacity,in order to achieve the overall function optimization between urbanization and resource and environment,it is necessary to strengthen the macro-control of government departments and scientifically guide the coordinated development of regions;Accelerating the reform of the household registration system and upgrading the industrial structure,promoting coordination and overall planning,and achieving common development of urbanization in various regions;In areas where resources and environmental carrying capacity are differentiated,it is necessary to adapt to local conditions and implement green development;Advocating universal participation and giving priority to resources conservation and environmental protection in terms of concepts,awareness and measures.
