Production Process Optimization Of A Company Based On VSM

For modern manufacturing industry,it is really key step for business competition improvement which shortening lead time of the product and enhancing the security of the delivering.To achieve the improvement of lead time and delivery,with clearly describe and improve production process to minimize the waste based on lean production principle.A company is one of the world's leading automation parts manufacturers,in the case of the continuous business growth,in order to meet the needs of the market,the company must deeply optimize the process continually.In this essay,based on the research of the actual situation of A company and analysis of the production process of the product,we found that the key process,that is called “the key chain”.Lean principle is useful for make improvement on key chain,by drawing the Value Stream Mapping(VSM)(the current state and future state),then identify the process problems and find the direction of improvement,lean management throughout the whole production process,finally move closer to the ideal state.Through the application of lean principle and process management theory,A company defined the production procedure properly and made lean improvement,finally optimized inventory situation and lead time of product,along with the controlling and reliability of delivering.At the same time,this essay also pointed out some attentions in the application of VSM to improve the process.
