| In recent years, the profit margin of forwarding enterprises is continuously compressed due to the lower economic speed, increasing competition, higher cost of human resources and fuel. The managers in forwarding enterprises necessarily need to know the main cost influence factors and re-engineer the process to reduce cost. Specially, the expanding application of information technology in forwarding enterprises drives the more frequent operation process re-engineering. Therefore, it becomes necessary and important to make reasonable process re-engineering, improve process management level to reduce cost in forwarding enterprises.The purpose for this paper is to analyze the main efficiency influence factors based on lean process management and to bring up corrective suggestions under the help of data analysis tool. Firstly, it investigates the current development situation of the forwarding enterprises and shows the importance and necessity to improve the efficiency in the forwarding business enterprises. Secondly, by the method of articles researching and referring to the related process management theories, it identifies the supporting theory accordance to the data analysis and model setup. Thirdly, it sets up the analysis model for the relationship between process efficiency and other elements with intermediate variable of process smoothness level. Then, it gets the actual data in the way of questionnaire and makes detailed analysis by SPSS software to prove the model. The analysis result indicates that the model is logically reasonable and process management and IT application has the main impact on process efficiency. Then, this paper gives the improvement solutions for the key influence factors leading to low efficiency. At the end of this paper, the writer also gives his own suggestions for the application of lean management in forwarding business enterprises by referring to his working experience. |
