The Routing Algorithm And Communication Protocol In Wireless Meter Reading System

In view of the smart grid plan has been put forward and promoted nationwide,smart meters need for more extensive and in-depth study,followed,wireless meter reading technology development is also faster.With the development of wireless meter reading technology,the application of wireless self-organizing network in meter reading has been promoted.The routing algorithm directly affects the performance of wireless network,which is very important for wireless networks,such as reliability,throughput,packet loss rate,end-to-end delay and other performance,which are the key indicators of the routing algorithm.There are many classical routing algorithms,such as DSR(Dynamic Source Routing),DSDV(Destination Sequential Distance Vectors),and AODV(Ad hoc On Demand Distance Vector),they play an important role in wireless ad hoc networks.this paper proposes an improved plan based on the classical routing algorithm DSR.This paper briefly introduces the structure and working principle of wireless meter reading system and the development of wireless communication technology,laying a foundation for further understanding of routing algorithm in wireless meter reading.This paper mainly studies the routing algorithm in the wireless meter reading system,and then improves it based on the classic DSR routing algorithm.By briefly introduce the DSR routing algorithm and understanding the working principle of the DSR,the DSR routing algorithm is further improved from the aspects of route establishment and route maintenance.This paper introduces DSRM based on the improved DSR routing algorithm,by introducing the process of route establishment and maintenance,and the message formats used in routing algorithm,such as RREQ and RREP,and so on,we can thorough understand of the routing algorithm.And at the same time,the time of route establishment is shortened,the packet loss rate is reduced,and the reliable transmission performance of the data is improved.This paper gives the simulation of DSRM routing algorithm based on NS2 software,and compares the performance of DSR and DSRM routing algorithm showing the difference between the two in the XGRAPH.
