Studying Of CALIS Of University Institutional Repository Alliance Construction

In the progress of changing the method of modern scientific communication,the institutional repository(IR)plays an important role.As a hot topic in the library and information scientific field,the alliance of the form of construction will also be one of the development trend in the future.The advantages of the institutional repository alliance,are based on the fact that can bring the resources and technology all together,and give birth to the whole efficiency totally.Therefore,according to analyze others successful case of institutional repository alliance,analyze its advantages and disadvantages,and make a comparative study between each other,we can learn a lot about how to build it and understand the rationality of the existence of institutional repository alliance and its practical value.Based on the literature survey and online tracking observation,this paper intend to make a introduction from four aspects,such as the background of alliance construction,the policy of institutional repository,the guiding ideology of alliance construction and the technical support of platform.At the same time,it can be concluded these problems about the construction of CALIS.In order to put forward to the strategies of solving these problems,by reading literature survey,interviewing the Taiwan researchers and online tracking observation,this paper puts forward to 9 items compared between TAIR and CALIS.These items are as follows:the background of alliance construction,the policy of institutional repository,the coverage of joining institutions,resource capacity and development balance,resource types,the method of resource content quality control,the effectiveness of resources showing and update frequency,the statistical charts of platform content,hierarchical 'browsing service,sharing transmission service,personalization service,copyright protection service.According to the results,it can be concluded the advantages and experiences of the construction of TAIR.In order to the study of the construction of CALIS,This article make a comparative analysis about the similarities and differences between these and make a summary.At the same time,it can be concluded that there are some problems about the construction of the CALIS,and there are some advantages and experiences of TAIR.In order to solve these problems,it can be concluded some reasonable advice of developing the alliance of institutional repository in the mainland field from four aspects,such as the basic link of resource construction,the important link of the resource construction,the value-added link of the resource construction and the way of strengthening the user viscosity.
