Research On Conflicts Between Librarians And Readers Of University Libraries In Henan Province

With social progress and development,conflict theory is not only cited in many fields,but also library field.The relationship between librarians and readers in the library service is inherently indivisible,but in reality the service of the reader and the librarian is complex and it is difficult to avoid some contradictions and conflicts.This paper mainly studies the conflict between the librarian and the reader of the university library in Henan province.The article is divided into six parts.The first part summarizes the research status of domestic and foreign scholars on the library librarian-reader conflict,pointed out the research content,research methods and innovation.The second part defines the connotation of librarian-reader conflict,expounds the theory of conflict five stages,and compares the positive and negative effects of librarian-reader conflict.The third part researches some librarians and readers of some universities in Henan Province,and do the reliability and validity of detection for the quality of the questionnaire,also carry out the results of the sample background analysis,descriptive statistical analysis,factor statistical analysis,correlation analysis and one-way analysis of variance.The fourth part makes a detailed discussion on the factors that lead to the conflict between librarians and readers.The reasons of library rules and regulations,librarians 'professional accomplishment and readers' personal cognition are easy to cause conflicts between librarians and readers.The fifth part puts forward the countermeasures to alleviate the conflict between the librarians and the readers of the university library in Henan province.That is,to improve the overall quality of librarians and increase of the library management system training and publicity for the readers,improve the library's resource allocation,improve resource utilization and improve the library environment,and readers and librarians to promote communication and mutual understanding.The sixth part summarizes the research work of the whole paper,and makes a prospect for the future research.
