Librarian is an important strategic resource for the development of the library,and the working conditions of librarians directly affect the overall performance and image of the library.The librarian's job satisfaction is the sum of the psychological and physiological responses to the work.The investigation and research on the job satisfaction of librarians can reflect the operation of the library and help the senior leaders to find out the problems and improve the management system.The study of librarians' job satisfaction in foreign countries started earlier.Based on the literature analysis,the current international research on this field focuses on the factors affecting the job satisfaction of Librarians.According to the research direction of domestic scholars in recent years,we can see that more and more attention has been paid to this field.Firstly,this paper reviews the background of the job satisfaction and the research status at home and abroad.The second chapter is about the connotation and related theories of Librarian's job satisfaction.The third part through the questionnaire survey method to carry on the investigation to the librarian's job satisfaction of several universities in Henan Province,divides the librarian satisfaction into six dimensions.The fourth part of the questionnaire after the recovery of effective questionnaires,using SPSS statistical software,analysis of the process of the main use of descriptive analysis,variance analysis,independent sample t test and other means.Analysis on the job satisfaction of Librarians Based on demographic variables.Finally,the paper puts forward the specific measures to improve the job satisfaction of librarians,as well as the prospects for the future and the inadequacies of the paper.The results show that male librarians have higher job satisfaction than women.In addition to the 31-40 year old librarians,basically showed an increase in job satisfaction with age and length of service.The satisfaction degree of unmarried librarians was higher than that of married Librarians.In addition to the intermediate title librarian,generally showed a higher degree of job satisfact ion with the law of increasing.Middle level,the level of job satisfaction is not significant,and are significantly lower than the level of leadership satisfaction.In addition to doctoral degrees,the job satisfaction showed a decreased trend with the higher education.Whether the librarian's degree is the major of the ch art,which has no influence on the librarian's job satisfaction.On the basis of the analysis,this paper put forward some suggestions for different age groups,education,position and so on.
