Research On The Strategies Of Subject-oriented Service Of University Library In Henan Province

Under the influence of information technology,subject-oriented service has been paid more and more attention by the library community and has been innovated and developed better with the help of information technology.Since tsinghua university established the subject librarian system in 1998,the subject-oriented service system has experienced more than 20 years of development.With the construction of "first-class" disciplines and "first-class" universities,subject-oriented service has gradually become an important part of the core business of university libraries.This paper selected 38 public universities in henan province as research object,and conducted an overall survey on the development of subject-oriented service in the library.It analyzed the situation of subject-oriented service from four aspects:subject-oriented service platform,subject-oriented service resources and contents,team construction of subject librarian and subject-oriented service system.And the paper analyze the current situation of the subject-oriented service of university library in henan province and the existing problems.Then I compared the results with subject-oriented service of 985 university library and learn from it.Therefore,the paper puts forward some measures to improve the subject-oriented service of university library in henan province.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part is introduction which mainly introduces the background and significance of the research,the research status of the subject service at home and abroad,the research contents and methods,and the innovation of this paper.The second part is summary of the theory which do a bibliometric analysis of the research on the subject-oriented services of university libraries,introduced the characteristics of subject-oriented service,and summarized the research focus of subject-oriented service.The third part is the investigation method and content.The paper adopted the methods of network survey,questionnaire survey to research subject-oriented service of university library in the subject-oriented service platform,the subject-oriented service resources and contents,teamconstruction of subject librarian and subject-oriented service system.Then summarize the current situation of the subject-oriented service of university library in henan province from four aspects.The fourth part is comparative analysis.This paper uses the literature survey method to summarize the current situation of subject-oriented service in 985 university libraries.The author analyzes the gap of subject-oriented service between henan university and 985 university library from four aspects:subject-oriented service platform,subject-oriented service resources and contents,team construction of subject librarian and subject-oriented service system.The fifth part is suggestions and countermeasures.According to the comparison results of the fourth part,the author puts forward the measures and strategies to improve the subject-oriented service of university libraries in henan province.The sixth part is the summary and prospect.The paper analyzes the existing problems and shortcomings of this research,and makes a prospect for the future development of subject-oriented service.
