With the rapid growth of China's economy,the social demand for energy,especially electricity,is also increasing,which also promotes the rapid development of the electric power industry.With the increasing scale of power grid,and the increasingly serious situation of network security,safety,reliability,stability and power quality are put forward higher requirements on power generation enterprise supply,especially for power plant computer monitoring system put forward higher requirements.Ertan Hydropower Station installed 3300 MW,is China's largest hydropower station in twentieth Century.At present,Ertan Hydropower Station is still the main power station of the southwest power grid,which is responsible for peak load regulation and frequency modulation.Ertan Hydropower Station has been put into operation since 1998,and the computer monitoring system has been put into operation at the same time,which has been running for more than ten years.In this paper,the defects of the original computer monitoring system of Ertan Hydropower Station,equipment performance can not meet the requirements of power standards,and the extensibility of the system,analyzes the necessity of the reform of the original computer monitoring system of two hydropower stations.Then,through the research of the network structure of the computer monitoring system,the upper computer,the lower computer,the AGC/AVC system,the hydrological information communication,the communication technology of the dispatching communication,had found a feasible and safe scheme.The key points and difficulties in the reform are analyzed,and the technical innovation points of the computer monitoring of Ertan Hydropower Station are listed.The technical advantages of computer monitoring system through the analysis of transformation,and performance monitoring system to enhance the contrast with the original index,on the transformation of computer monitoring and control system was evaluated,and summarizes the large hydropower station safety monitoring system renovation strategy of computing technology.
