Hydro resource is a kind of energy which is clean and renewable.It is an important support for the sustainable development of economy and society in China to rational develop and utilize the water resources.Besides,in 2011 the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued a decision about the development of water resources,which required that the development of water resources should be accelerated and positive development of hydropower.This paper is based on the hydropower station to introduce the structure of control system of hydropower station.According to the actual situation and parameters of the power station,the paper chooses the cross-flow unit and the digital valve programmable intelligent governor.Combined with the characteristics of the control system of the hydropower station,the design of the PLC control system of the hydropower unit and the design of the hardware and software of the unit control system are completed.The design achieved the unit boot control,unit shutdown control,accident shutdown and emergency shutdown control.The fuzzy PID control algorithm is used in the hydraulic turbine speed control system,and the design of the monitoring system of the hydropower station is completed by HG3000 configuration software.Finally,this paper evaluates the deficiencies in the design of hydropower stations and prospects the future development of power plants.At present,the power plant has been running steady,the actual operation results show that the system can meet the requirements of practical applications and achieve the desired objectives.
