Research On The Schedule Management Of Communication Base Station Network Construction Project In ZJ Branch Of China Mobile Company

In recent years, the construction of telecommunication project has attracted substantial attention from the society. Being one of the most important enterprise, the Chinese Mobile Telecommunication also needs to construct more signal bases to meet customers’ expanding needs. It is under such circumstance that Chinese mobile telecommunication project has become an important project among all different kinds of network construction projects. Thus, with an aim to occupy more advantages, the Chinese mobile telecommunication is urgently in need of monitoring different elements within the telecommunication projects, including progress, quality, cost, safety and so on.Influenced by these elements, the Chinese telecommunication project’s construction is greatly promoted. In this dissertation, the researcher has selected the ZJ mobile telecommunication company as a case study object to investigate network construction of the mobile telecomminucation bases. The researcher will focus on analyzing how varying elements affect implementation of the project construction.In this dissertation, the researcher initially introduced relevant project management theories and progress management theories. In the meantime, a brief development of the selected telecommunication project will be introduced, as well as some major influential factors that affect progress of the projects.In the end, the researcher found out that with an aim to shorten the construction cycle of ZJ mobile telecommunication network construction project, relevant bases should manage their progress strictly.First of all, it is necessary for the ZJ to focus on progress controlling and the monitoring of general plans. In particular, it is essential for ZJ to require construction companies and the implementation companies to manage the general plan of the bases’ construction projects. Based on this, general progress goals and implementation plans should be formulated. Only through observing every single element, can ZJ formulate a substantial, scientific, reasonable and comprehensive progress plan. Secondly, it is necessary for ZJ to focus on progress of the plan and actual progress. Given the fact that implementation companies might need to conduct instant monitoring on too many processes of bases’ construction, in addition, there are also other uncertainty. In view of this, it is necessary for the implementation companies to find out varying factors and carry out effective practices to make adjust to the construction progresses and eventually find out replacement methods.Finally, it is essential for the implementation companies to require intensive level of cooperation and co-ordination.Through doing so, the implementation company can carry out integrated monitoring and management.
