Research On Progress Schedule Planning And Control Of SG Company E-HR Management Information System Development Project

With the development of modern information technology, information management software has increasingly become the essential facility for modern enterprises to improve efficiency and gain benefit. However, the development process of this kind of software is very complicated and has high degree of uncertainty, which results in a low success rate. To meet the need of the larger and larger scale in the software development and more and more people joining in this career, which results from the rapid development of info-tech, software project managing has widely been introduced into software companies, which is an effective way of managing software project. It is known that the vital elements in managing software project must be planning and controlling of the project.Based on project management knowledge and the study case of development project of SG human resource management information system, this thesis explains, in software development practice, the specific application of management principles and methods of project schedule and project control. Firstly, it describes the progress management of the project, especially the theoretical knowledge related to schedule management of software project. Secondly, it introduces the preparatory work of development project of SG HR management information system, including the overall project planning and organizational structure. Thirdly the thesis elaborates the process of preparing this project schedule and the specific content of project schedule control. It contains, with scientific and effective methods, planning the project network schedule, critical path, critical activity, etc. and appropriately adjusting and optimizing project schedule. Meanwhile, it discusses affecting factors that exist in the project schedule control management and their corresponding countermeasures. Finally, this thesis makes a conclusion and gives a prospect to this project.Giving full consideration for the characteristics of software development project in large-scale enterprises, and through the thorough study of project schedule and project control management applied to SG HR management information system development projects, this thesis tries to plan a scientific and reasonable schedule for this project, analyze the key factors which affect the schedule of system development projects and build a scientific schedule and control system, which helps enterprises solve more practical management problems and gives reference to practical application of project schedule management theory.
