The Research Of Progress Management In Yueyang Unicom GSM Technology Renovation Project

With the Telecommunication network construction and the issuance of theoperational license of the third generation of digital communication technology (3G)by the three major operators, the construction of telecommunications industry hasdeveloped rapidly. Until the end of2011, the total number of urban and rural fixedtelephone subscribers reached2.94hundred million; the total number of mobile phoneusers in the mobile communications business was up to859million, mobile phonepenetration rate reached64.36%per hundred people; all increased nearly15percentcompared to last year;3G mobile subscribers who open only a year have reached fourthousand million. Telecommunications construction and services business in Chinahave rapid developed; also propose new and higher requirements for the managers ofTelecommunication engineering.This paper selects a typical project of Yueyang Unicom GSM technologyrenovation projects, this project is the focus of Hunan Unicom in2011, also theHuawei Company "A" level key project.This article tries to analysis Yueyang Unicom GSM technology renovationproject, using various theories of the progress management, trying to combine withthe actual Telecommunication engineering construction projects, analysis the cost,quality, organization, risk and other related factors of the management inTelecommunication projects progress, and measure the objective of the projectprocess by the scientific method, then try to assess the typical factors of progressmanagement. We hope that we can find a new way to provide reference for futureTelecommunications engineering construction project managers.
