| Economic development and technological advance need higher bandwidth business. The capacity of Nanning Unicom IP metropolitan area network has been unable to meet the needs of business development, so the MAN equipment capacity expansion project must be implemented, which can improve business ability and get efficient and reliable support from the business users and individual users. The project involves a wide range and more nodes, which need efficient schedule management to control the time and the cost.This paper takes Nanning Unicom IP metropolitan area network equipment capacity expansion project as the research object, and analysis the problems existed in the process of project schedule management, such as single method, unified allocation limited, poor communication and so on. It carries out activity definition, activity sequencing, time estimation and scheduling with scientific methods, then redesigns the overall scheme of the project schedule management. On this basis, it researches the progress optimization strategy further, using critical path method node optimization strategy and improved hybrid genetic critical chain method. Meanwhile, the implement securities are proposed, such as building communication and coordination mechanism of multi units and multi departments, data reporting and document management mechanism, schedule early warning and dynamic response mechanism and so on. Finally, it takes Nanning IP metropolitan area network equipment capacity expansion project as an example, then evaluates the effect of construction progress and analysis the progress deviation and early warning of the progress each month. The results show that the schedule optimization and management strategy meet the actual needs, and the project schedule management has achieved satisfactory results.The research results also have certain reference significance for the same kind of network construction project's schedule management. |
