The 21 st century is a new era of ocean,and the trend of development in every aspect is changing with each passing day.The development of marine industry is of great significance to a country's comprehensive national strength.China,as a country with more than 18 thousand kilometers coastline of marine power,has a large sea area of 3 million square kilometers own the jurisdiction of which,also this large sea area include more than 6 thousand small islands,which are definitely inestimable on all aspects of politics,economy,culture and military value.In the18 th CPC National Congress,it was proposed that the development of marine economy and construction of marine economic powerful nation are necessary,also had been proposed in 13 th Five-Year plan that enhancing people's awareness of the ocean was important.Enhancing senior high school students' awareness of marine is of vital importance for the part of the national promotion program,deepening the senior high school students' geography awareness of the value of the ocean,all that will benefit the promotion the construction of the country's marine power.Based on the high school geography teaching,this paper uses research methods of documentary research,questionnaire investigation and content analysis.It is divided into the following five parts:The first part:The introduction part combs the domestic and international marine education related research and explains this research survey.The second part:This part clarifies the relevant concepts of the high school geography marine consciousness and marine consciousness education,and lays the theoretical foundation.It is pointed out that the meaning of marine consciousness in this study covers marine nature,marine economy,marine politics,and marine humanities.The third part:This part analyzes the internal structure of ocean knowledge,the transfer of major chapters,the relation between the knowledge points and theeducation targets,from which pointed out some shortcomings of existing.On the one hand,contents of marine land for compulsory textbooks is not enough;On the other hand,specific facts and materials of the controversial countries are ignored in the elective course.The fourth part:The survey of high school students' marine consciousness showed a generally weak and their cognition is unilateral and single;Based on the research and interviews of the present situation of teachers' teaching,it finds that the elective courses leave much to be desired.The fifth part: It puts forward some countermeasures to deepen the education of marine consciousness based on the content analysis and the present situation of the teaching and teachers and students' learning.For full penetration of natural,political,economic,cultural and other aspects of marine consciousness,teachers should focus on two aspects:optimizing teaching materials,optimizing educational resources on marine consciousness.
